"I am so glad we found Chris to take care of our two dogs, Jamie a 5 yr old Maltese and Jamie a 9 month old Jack Russell mix. My dogs are my babies so of course I wanted to leave them with a kind and experienced pet sitter. We met Chris a few months prior to our vacation and as soon as I saw how comfortable the dogs were at Chris's home, and how comfortable they were with him. I knew we found the person we wanted to care for our dogs in our absence. Our dogs stayed with Chris for 9 days while we were away on vacation. I would text Chris to find out how they were, and he always responded very quickly. When we picked them up they were happy, playful, and clean Chris had all of their belongings packed up neatly and waiting for us. I will leave our dogs with him without any worries at all. "We were so thrilled to find Chris when we moved to Monmouth County! Our dogs are 14 years old and like children to us, so finding someone so caring and attentive is very important. Our one dog Belle is incredibly difficult with new people, but took to Chris immediately I was amazed! The aggression just isn't there with Chris around and she was sitting in his lap in about 5 minutes! His experience speaks for itself. " Chris took excellent care of our Golden Retriever, cat, and fish while we were away. It was such a comfort to know I didn't have to worry about them. The daily updates were great and Chris even sent us pictures. Our dog was relaxed when we got home. "Our dogs Chloe and Clyde are 10 years old with special health needs. We always had family members taking care of them when we vacationed. This year it became necessary to find an alternative solution. We looked at boarding kennels and soon realized that the attention they needed would not be available. We found Chris's Dog Service online and decided to use Chris after meeting with him and taking our dogs to his house for a visit. Chris turned out to be a lifesaver for us! We were gone 10 days and any anxiety we had about leaving them was laid to rest by Chris staying in contact with us via email. We were suprised how fast our dogs adjusted staying with Chris. He has so much experience and knowledge caring for dogs. From the pictures Chris took of our dogs, we know they were given the same love and attention they would have received at home. "We have a two year old Jack Russell Terrier who was recently rescued from a shelter and I was concerned about leaving him at a kennel during a trip I was taking at Christmas out of state. Thankfully I found Chris's Dog Care Service. Chris cared for Jaxx in the personal environment of his home and gave him very personalized care and training he would never of received at a kennel facility. I never worried about a thing leaving Jaxx for the long vacation. Chris has a backyard that is very secure for dogs and I felt he would be safe at Chris's home. "Chris is a great dog sitter we could not have been happier! While my husband was deployed to the Middle East, I was able to take my baby home to Arizona for a month and spend time with family. Both of our dogs loved Chris and his home where they were boarded. I didn't have to worry about them at all and could just enjoy my time. One of our dogs, Stuart has a serious heart condition and does not eat enough without coaxing. Chris was very attentive, watching for any signs of illness and making sure Stuart didn't skip any meals. He took time to hand feed him his food to make sure he ate! We have two dogs, a Standard Poodle and a Maltese. We had used the same pet sitter/dog walker since we have had the older dog (Poodle) for ten years. About a year ago our sitter had left the area. We then tried about six different kennels and pet sitters, but our dogs did not fare well at all and did not like going back to or having these pet sitters care for them. We could plainly tell our dogs were not happy when we returned from our trips. Then we were so lucky to have found Chris! He took care of our dogs for three weeks in his home, and he really knows dogs so well and he took such great care of them! He knew from his experience how to accommodate two very different dogs one ten years old and the other eighteen months! He even took his own time and without charging us to train the younger Maltese better. He was so good with our dogs they were reluctant to come home with us! The next time we left them there just recently they just dragged me to his front door. They know his house and the great care and love they receive from Chris. He goes out of his way like no other pet sitter I have ever used and he is a wonderful trainer. Sammy our younger dog is always better behaved each time when he comes home with us. "Chris has been taking care of my two Greyhounds Bella and Erika for some time now. He gives them daily walks and always lets me know what's going on with them. He let's me know if they have done their business and also if there are any issues. Bella is 13 and has trouble with stairs so he makes the extra effort to help her up and down the stairs for each walk. He has always been available for extra walks on short notice and I have also left my girls in his care overnight. The girls are always happy and excited to see him and my neighbors say he is very patient and gives them a nice long walk. "Chris's Dog Care Service came to my rescue when I needed a few days of dog care for my two dogs, Teddy and Emma. My dogs have never been left at a boarding facility since I've had them. I'm sure they would have been frightened and stressed and Emma, a former shelter dog does not always get along with other dogs. Luckily and thankfully I found Chris's appealing website online for caring for Teddy and Emma. After meeting him, I felt immediately reassured that my dogs were in good hands and he understood all of my concerns. He even texted me everyday I was away to let me know all was well. When I came back to pick them up the dogs were fine and relaxed. I definitely recommend Chris's Dog Care Service and plan on using him for my next trip! "We went away for a week and left our miniature poodle Milou with Chris. Chris was very professional and always responded to our calls and emails immediately. He made arrangements to meet with us prior to our trip so I was assured Milou would be comfortable. While we were away Chris sent us text messages with updates about what and how Milou was doing. It was nice to know Milou was taken care of so well while we were away. I trust Chris showed my dog a really great time as they toured around Fair Haven where he lives. "Chris took extremely good care of Quincy our 5 yr old Boston Terrier. Now Quincy is not an ordinary dog- he is a "special needs" dog who has had bi weekly seizures over the last 4 years and has to take over 10 pills a day. The fact he is a "special needs" dog had curtailed our travel plans for a long time, but when we had to go abroad for a family emergency we left Quincy under Chris's care for two weeks. Chris took excellent care of Quincy administered all his medications on time, gave him plenty of exercise and affection and was prepared to handle any seizures. In addition he gave us periodic updates which were very important to us. When we returned Quincy was in excellent sprits all thanks to Chris. As a loving pet owner Quincy is part of the family and we are very happy with Chris's care of Quincy, and really appreciate the extra effort he put in to accomodate Quincy's condition. It is a great relief for us to know that we can leave Quincy with Chris, and be assured he is in good hands and in a safe enviornment. Chris thanks a lot again!!" "Chris was great with my dog Maxie we were gone for a week on vacation and prior to finding Chris's Dog Care Service I put her up at a boarding facility name not mentioned and when I got her back I noticed she was very hyper and just not herself. When Chris took care of her at his home Maxie got the royal treatment! She was walked 3 times per day sometimes 4 he did a little training with her and now she behaves so much better. He is truly wonderful with dogs I think he is just as good as Cesar Millan maybe better! Chris goes out of his way to keep your pet happy. His rates were lower than other services. "We hired Chris just recently to watch our 3 small dogs while we were away for a few days. I was extremely worried about leaving them as they had always stayed with family or traveled with us. I wanted to ensure they had the best care possible while we were gone. When we first contacted Chris we liked him right away- he was professional and responded to us immediately. He confirmed all appointments and made sure every detail regarding times, dates, and arrangements were addressed so there were no last minute suprises. He came to the house to meet us and the dogs and immediately gave us a sense of confidence with his calm demeanor and ability to go with the flow as dogs can be unpredictable sometimes. Our dogs took to him immediately. He listened to our concerns and was willing to work with us for whatever was needed. While we were away, he provided us with updates that made us feel comfortable that all was well with the dogs he kept at his residence. When we came home the dogs were happy and well cared for. "I was in dire need of someone to watch my lab mix puppy. I had to leave for a weekend of work and needed to find someone to watch Kellie for the weekend. The problem was it was already Thursday night. I found Chris online and emailed him at midnight, and much to my surprise he responded in ten minutes. "I first called Chris for help as I was in tears. I have a 13 week old Siberian Husky puppy and we just moved to a new place and she would not go potty outside no matter what I did. I was exhausted from taking her out every hour and she wouldn't go outside for SIX days straight. She would go as soon as we got inside the apartment and I was going out of my mind. Chris took the time to take my nearly hysterical call and gave me advice on the phone, but also followed up with an email of instructions without us ever meeting and without charging me. I hired Chris to come train my dog and after the first session, she was already different. She was more calm to walk. We now have 4-5 sessions under our belt and it's like I have a new dog. Smokey loves when he comes, and is eager to learn and please him, and then me. Chris is knowledgeable, patient, and kind to dogs. He truly has a passion for what he does."
